My tenure as a Manager in CDB, started in April 2016. All IT functions in CDB were categorized in to 4 pillars , namely MIS, IT Operations, IT Infrastructure & Network/Security. I started the journey as an Assistant Manager then gradually being promoted to the position of "Head of IT Infrastructure". under this position I am responsible for the following.

• Assuring timely renewal of AMCs on all IT Infrastructure.
• Negotiating with different vendors for best deals behalf of company.
• Presenting weekly , Monthly , Annual updates at IT Steering committee and Information Security Committee, in various areas for example, Application performance, DR Drill performance, ISO 27001 audit findings and remedies, updates on Ongoing projects.
• Planning and performing timely upgrades on existing systems to ensure all systems are complied with benchmarks and standards.
• Planning and providing platforms for new solutions being implemented to support business growth.
• Adhering Documentation guidelines . and maintaining daily , weekly , monthly reports with regard to system performances , growth, availability.
• Ensure all systems are in line with company's BCP guide lines.
• Team Management .

My main role as a senior executive in IT was to be responsible for managing the software and hardware platform of Core banking application not limited to the following.

• Troubleshooting, replication, backups , tuning tasks in Oracle database, Troubleshooting, backups , tuning tasks in Oracle weblogic application server,
• Troubleshooting & Administration of RedHat Jboss application server,
• Troubleshooting & Administration of Linux operating system running hosts ,
• Timely renewal of Annual maintenance contracts with vendors.
• Administration & Troubleshooting of the technical matters pertaining to Active Directory, Printer Server, Domain controller, etc.
