I am a hard-working person who has more than 40 years of experience in planting. I am very results oriented with a strong Analytical and Business / Finance Acumen. I started my planting career in 1984 under JEDB and carried forward to Watawala Plantations after JEDB was privatized to Watawala Plantations in 1992. I progressed to become an Estate Manger from 1993 upto 2011 in three properties at different designations. Recognizing my performance, I was promoted as a Regional General Manager from 2011 till 2015 and then subsequently became the Director / Deputy CEO for Kotagala Plantations from 2015 till 2022. I have never run an Estate and the Region at a loss. I am excellent at managing an organization and maintaining a good working relationship with all stakeholders.

- Dunsinane Estate was a 980 kilo average yield per hectare property with only 11% VP. I was able to achieve 2,100 kilos yield per hectare.
- The estate had a production of 600,000 kilos made tea per annum and I improved that to 1.3 million kilos made tea production per annum.
- Always ensured that ground conditions was at it's best and closely monitored the daily operations efficiently.
