I had the pleasure of working closely with Prabudda. He joined BIMA Lanka as an Assistant Finance Manager and he stood out for his positive can-do attitude which rubbed off on the entire team. His knowledge and hard-work enabled him to quickly grow in confidence and enabled him to take on the leadership of the Finance team as the Finance Manager in less than a year, when the opportunity arose. He always dealt challenges with a smile, consistently delivered before deadlines, and has been an excellent leader and mentor to his team.
Under very tight deadlines he was able to manage the statutory financial reporting, monthly financial reporting, tax & legal compliances, budget preparation & monitoring, invoicing & payment processing, collection follow-ups, valuation & investment deal analysis, etc for three entities in Sri Lanka. The relationships he built with our partner organizations, as well as the Audit firm and the Company Secretarial firm ensured that BIMA Sri Lanka maintained a healthy financial record with all statutory compliances. It was a tremendous achievement for someone with just over a year's experience in the company. He was a key member of my leadership team and someone who brought plenty of energy, new ideas, and strategic advice.
