- Implemented and performed BAU (administer, monitor, and troubleshoot) operations of Pearson global storage/backup environments according to ITIL standards.
- Support provided for IBM TSM/Spectrum Protect, VERITAS NetBackup, and EMC Networker backup environments.
- Monitored and reported the backup operations/systems (NetBackup using OpsCenter & TSM using Predatar).
- Administered and provided the troubleshooting related to the EMC Data Domains, Tape Libraries (IBM TS3500, Quantum and SpectraLogic).
- Performed BAU tasks on storage (NetApp, EMC VNX/VMAX & EMC DataDomain).
-Provided support to migrate and decommission legacy environments including IBM Tape libraries, AIX 6.1 servers, and TSM 5.5 instances to new hardware and to IBM Spectrum Protect.

- Ensure successful completion of backups and their fast restoration upon management and user request.
- Provided specialist skills for 24/7 maintenance and emergency support for the Sri Lankan IBM customers for their operational continuity by troubleshooting servers, storages and backup peripherals.
- Provided support for the IBM Power Systems, Operating System (IBM AIX, Linux) & Software (IBM Tivoli Storage Manager AKA IBM Spectrum Protect)
- Provided the basic Database & Network Support
- Worked as an onsite System support Engineer at Sri Lankan Air Lines administering, troubleshooting and providing the support for TSM Server, IBM TS3310 Tape Library IBM storage DS8k and power Server.
- Provided required support and guidance to the customer DR Drill based activates.
