Final Year Project, My Final Year Project is the development of unique software for Travel agents in Sri Lanka. Unlike the booking engines (B2C) (Booking.com, Air BnB, Agoda, etc), the project is a B2B to be used by Travel Agents, a segment that has not been dominated by booking engines. The unique feature of the solution is the price comparison of main B2C Booking engines are given along with the Travel Agent's Price to the Customer. Further Travel Agent's ability to find Accommodation (Hotels, Villas, Apartments) to suit Guest requirements which are not available in the Booking Engines, Ex Hotels with Interconnected Room/Rooms with Plunge pool/Family Room with Bunker beds ext. in a Given location within a given budget. Further, this software provides Travel Agent's convenience of creating quotations, itineraries, vouchers, and relevant documents and Management Information. The comparison of rates with multiple booking engines provides leverage to the travel agents to negotiate better prices with just a click, in addition to the benefits offered in Sales. Matrimonial 2019, Project pitched at IIT 2nd Year as a module component. The project was to create a specimen of a Matrimonial website uniquely specific to Tamil culture, including unique features such as astrology calculations, matchmaking with relevant horoscopes and more Tamil cultural matrimony options.
