- Company Overview: The Ceylon Electricity Board is the main electricity supplier in Sri Lanka, responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity
- Carrying out the feasibility study and preparing Grid Interconnection proposal for the large-scale Solar PV plants
- Commissioning the MV level interconnected Solar PV plants with the required protections
- Design, procuring, installation & commissioning of rooftop solar PV systems for CEB own buildings (CEB head office, Lak Vijaya power plant admin building, Piliyandala training centre, DD3 head Office, Etc.)
- Preparing the technical proposals to provide the Electricity supplies for MV level connected bulk supplies and Industrial Development Zones
- Preparing manuals and Circulars for the distribution network; MV level metered and LV level metered rooftop Solar PV system integration to Distribution Network; proposed metering arrangement, operational requirement, protection requirement and produced necessary applications, agreements, and test reports
- Design and submit 33kV tower line design using PLS-CADD as per the given line route and the survey details
- Coordination with the Transmission Control & Protection branch regarding the distribution protection issues and discuss the solutions
- Calculation and propose the protection settings of the downstream Auto Recloser installations
- Conducted an awareness Sessions for the Electrical Engineers, Electrical Superintends in CEB Solar rooftop systems, storage solutions, technical issues and LV solar feasibility excel worksheet
