  • Appeared on Ada Derana 24x7, a national TV channel, on 2 occasions to advocate for active support of people with disabilities during Phase I of the COVID-19 pandemic; the first appearance alone led to 200+ leads establishing contact with Ashinsa (potential donors and requests for help )
  • Developed a countrywide network of 100+ volunteers for disability related charity work (“Ashinsa Task Force”)

  • -Democracy Fellowship Youth Camps to educate youth on electoral processes. voter registration, and inclusive electoral practices.
  • -National Voter Day celebrations at the University of Colombo (2017) and the University of Peradeniya (2018)
  • -Focus group discussion between 15 members of the LGBT community and Canada’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka as a part of the electoral systems awareness week
