- Provides strategic leadership to the organization to promote the rights of women and youth with disabilities as a youth-led organization.

- Conducted a two-day workshop on Disability-Confident Recruitment and Management for London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) (Sri Lanka and India), as a joint initiative with Leonard Cheshire Disability UK.

- Conducted a webinar on the “The Role of Multiculturalism” for London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Colombo Office in Colombo Office.

• Appeared on Ada Derana 24x7, a national TV channel, on 2 occasions to advocate for active support of people with disabilities during Phase I of the COVID-19 pandemic; the first appearance alone led to 200+ leads establishing contact with Ashinsa (potential donors and requests for help )
• Developed a countrywide network of 100+ volunteers for disability related charity work (“Ashinsa Task Force”)
• Facilitated bi-weekly disability sensitization trainings for rural women in Sevenagala, Sri Lanka as part of the Ashinsa Disability Resource Centre project
• Provided corrective feedback to achieve quarterly and long-term goals.

• Led the organization and execution of the Sri Lanka Unites University Conference in August 2019. The event had 107 students in attendance from 25 public and private universities- an increase of 300% from the previous year.
• Established interest groups consisting of youth activists in the field of governance and media to promote peace and reconciliation in their respective sectors.

• Initiated youth programming at IFES, and was instrumental in introducing youth inclusion initiatives at the Election Commission of Sri Lanka
• Initiated and implemented the following projects:
• -"Kites for Rights", an event to stress the importance of electoral participation of youth, in 2016.
• -Democracy Fellowship Youth Camps to educate youth on electoral processes. voter registration, and inclusive electoral practices.
• -National Voter Day celebrations at the University of Colombo (2017) and the University of Peradeniya (2018)
• -Focus group discussion between 15 members of the LGBT community and Canada’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka as a part of the electoral systems awareness week

A youth-led, youth centered voluntary organization/platform, aimed at protecting, promoting and ensuring human rights, democracy, good governance, rule of law and social justice, through the active and meaningful participation of young people.

• Conducted a survey on domestic violence in Negombo, Beruwala and other coastal areas, on behalf of “Citizens for a Secure Sri Lanka”.
• Trained 10 volunteers as election observers for the 2015 presidential and parliamentary elections, on behalf of “Rights Now”, a local NGO working on democracy and human rights

• Contributed the organization of ‘Twinning Schools Program’ which promotes reconciliation by fostering social cohesion among school students from the northern and southern provinces of Sri Lanka
