Responsibilities

• Monitoring and supervision of pipe laying sites
• Monitored execution of contract work for compliance with design plans and specifications.
• Analyze the present condition of each DMA (handed over, under NRW management and DMAs which is nearing completion for NRW management) and identify the issues
• In any case if there is any Issue, inform the relevant officials to rectify the issues
• Assist reviewing the method statements and submittals for PZT, LNF measurement,
• Initial NRW assessments, step tests, design reports, manuals and other submittals submitted by the Contractors
• Assist Carrying out Colombo city water balance, DMA wise NRW and KPI figures (including progress reports)
• Assist modelling team to calibrate hydraulic models
• Daily monitoring of DMA and Colombo city flow and pressure variation
• Assist site team for leak detection work and pipe tracing

Experienced with

• RCC Structures.
• Steel Structures.
• Waterproofing Work & Earth Works
• External Facade (Stone cladding, Structural Glazing system, Curtain wall).
• Internal and External Finishing works.

Responsibilities

• Monitored execution of contract work for compliance with design plans and specifications.
• Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.
• Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan
• Issuing Non-Compliance Report (NCR) and Site Observation Report (SOR) for the non- compliance work done by Contractor.
• Coordinate with the Contractor and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
• Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
• Review method statement for the activity including risk assessment, job safety environmental analysis, Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
