Password Checker

• Created a password checker using Bash/Scripting which would iterate and through a list of passwords stored in a .txt file and validate based on a given set of requirements.

Incident Detection

• Analyze the events captures within the Boss of SOC dataset (BOTSv3) to identify patterns of malicious Activity using Splunk / ELK Stack and then proceeded to create a timeline of the attack and mitigation strategies.

Penetration Testing

• Conducted a penetration test on a virtual system using tools such as Nmap, Burp-suite, Hydra , Weevely, hex-editor, John the ripper and obtained the root privileges

Network Security

• Implemented a OpenSSH server with MFA authentication along with a Cowrie honeypot and configures Linux Firewall using Iptables to log and block certain traffic.
