• Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, laboratory technicians, and medical assistants, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Providing specialized care for patients with benign and malignant hematological conditions, as well as coordinating long-term care for patients with chronic conditions

• Performing surgical procedures to treat or repair various medical conditions, injuries, or abnormalities
• Preparing for surgeries by reviewing patients' medical histories, conducting preoperative assessments, and ensuring patients are in the best possible condition for surgery
• Collaborating with the surgical team, which may include surgical nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians, to ensure that the surgery proceeds smoothly and safely
• Postoperative care, including monitoring patients during recovery, addressing any complications, and providing follow-up care as needed

Anaesthesia

• Conducting preoperative assessments of patients to evaluate their medical history, current health status, and any potential risks associated with anesthesia
• Discussing the anesthesia plan and options with the patient, including the type of anesthesia to be used (e.g., general, regional, local), potential side effects, and postoperative pain management
• Administering anesthesia to patients before surgical or medical procedures to induce various levels of consciousness or insensitivity to pain, depending on the type of anesthesia required
• Monitoring and adjusting anesthesia throughout the procedure to maintain the patient's stability, including vital signs (e.g., heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels)
• Collaborating with the surgical team, including surgeons and nurses, to ensure patient safety and comfort during the procedure.
• Managing any immediate anesthesia-related complications or emergencies, such as adverse reactions or changes in the patient's condition
• Monitoring the patient's recovery, vital signs, and pain levels in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) or recovery room

Intensive Care Unit

• Monitoring and interpreting data from various medical devices, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and intravenous pumps, to assess the patient's condition and response to treatment
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for each patient in the ICU, including the administration of medications, fluid management, and life support measures
