My journey in education began with a Diploma in English for Teachers of English from the esteemed University of Colombo, where I achieved a merit pass in English language and literature. This foundational experience laid the groundwork for my teaching philosophy, emphasizing academic excellence, creativity, critical thinking, and personal growth.

In pursuit of continuous professional development, I am currently immersed in studying an Advanced Certificate in Digital Marketing and Brand Management at the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM). This strategic blend of traditional pedagogy with modern marketing techniques equips me to navigate the evolving landscape of education and effectively engage with diverse audiences in a digital age.

Outside of academia, I had been dedicating significant time to social activism since the age of 19, particularly in advocating for children's rights and well-being. As a full-time volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul Society, an esteemed international organization, I worked tirelessly for five years, leveraging my skills in psychology and counseling to make a meaningful impact in the lives of marginalized youth.
