• Work with R&D product development team to understand needs and collaborate with the suppliers develop new materials taking in to consideration of supplier,quality,cost,technical parameters fit to purpose.
• closely follow of the testing process, of sample mini trial & mini bulk & finalize the specs & smooth hand overing to bulk process.
• alternative material development & vendor development for the existing material consideration of cost reduction benefits & quality improvement
• Research new materials & tends & present to the R&D team
• coordinate with the suppliers to iron out technical issues
• material analyzing for the duplication process

• Sourcing related SAP transactions
• Participate in technical team meetings/ discussions,
• Initiate/evaluate new suppliers for procurement/ development of new yarns,
• Trial production / test performance, offer test results to suppliers for review and feedback and follow up until exact requirement of yarn is obtained from supplier

• Responsible for all post treatment recipe development process of woven Fabrics including wrinkle fee, stay cool, stain resistance
• Responsible Quality assurance process of (treated & untreated) garments
• Shade band (treated woven fabrics & woven untreated) preparation and approvals
• Managing the wrinkle free lab as the wrinkle free innovation lab in charge
• Involvement of bulk team to solve the recipe related bulk issues (color, appearance, fabric strength)

· Responsible for all quality assurance processes & of shade approvals & Fabric testing

o Daily dye out batches

o Daily in housed trims by evaluating the shade, physical testing & chemical testings as per the customer requirements
